The Orchard Village Board of Directors announced that Allison Stark assumed the role of President & CEO of Orchard Village officially on March 1, 2017. She replaces Martin Oliff, who remains with the organization in the new role of Chief Development Officer. Allison Stark joined Orchard Village’s programs team in 2007, ascending to VP of Programs in 2010. She was made Executive Vice President in 2014. Building Our Future

 On September 26, 2016, Orchard Village officially broke ground for construction of a brand new 5,200 sq. ft. client Activity Center on its Skokie administrative campus. The new structure, planned for completion in summer 2017, features an open, high-ceilinged space appropriate for use as a gym/court, music room, theater, arts studio or other meeting place. The center also includes a complete commercial-style kitchen for staff and client training and use, plus a light-filled, flexible meeting room for use by clients, staff, parents and the Board of Directors. Employment First

Orchard Village is proud to have been selected as one of only a handful of organizations across Illinois to receive, through a competitive grant process, significant State funding to support individuals (specifically, those currently attending a day program or sheltered workshop) in their efforts to obtain community-based employment.
