Join the Village Volunteers

Orchard Village is starting a new group called Village Volunteers. This informal group of family and community members will be available to help with client events (like the holiday and summer parties), building and grounds improvement projects (like painting decks, planting flowers, and improving our homes), and helping with special events (such as our golf outing, gala, Cocktails for a Cause event, and Tootsie Roll Tag Days).

The Village Volunteers is a great place to meet other family members, make friends, and socialize. At least once each quarter of the year, there will be a project with which Village Volunteers can help. For people interested in volunteering more often, regular office tasks may be available that can be done onsite or at home.

Volunteers will receive recognition with a special Orchard Village pin, their names listed in the annual report, and an annual celebration event. Most importantly, volunteers receive the smiles, hugs, and gratitude of the individuals with disabilities whom we support.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please email Joe at Joseph_Like@orchardvillage.org. If you have any questions, please call him at 847-583-7734.
