Thanks to a generous gift from an anonymous donor, Orchard Village was able to install handicap accessible doors throughout our Activity Center. “Ensuring that our Activity Center is accessible for all was a top priority for our fundraising this year.” explained Allison Stark, President & CEO. “We are so grateful for this donor and the impact their gift will make on the clients we serve.”
Orchard Village’s Activity Center opened in 2017 and features a commercial kitchen, a meeting room and a 2,500 sq. ft. activity space, complete with basketball hoops. There is ample space for sports, fitness, art, music, drama, cooking, dance and more. The Activity Center houses Abilities in Motion, Orchard Village’s therapeutic recreation program tailored to the identified physical, cognitive and emotional goals of the individuals we support.
