Niles West DECA Students Donate Time and Money

This fall, Orchard Village partnered with the Niles West DECA students of Niles Township High School District 219. DECA (Distributed Education Clubs of America) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.

Niles West DECA has been sponsoring and participating in fun activities and events with our clients including game nights, holiday events and more. On Wednesday, December 13, the DECA students hosted their final community service event: a fun holiday party and presented Orchard Village with a generous $5,000 donation.

Allison Stark, Orchard Village CEO, stated “Orchard Village is grateful for both the hands-on support and the monetary gift of the Niles West DECA students. The incredibly generous gift of $5,000 will enable us to host a number of client-focused activities at our Activity Center and continue the tradition started by the DECA students. The integrity and dedication demonstrated by the students was impressive. I have no doubt these students will grow up to be strong leaders in their chosen fields and will continue to give back to their communities.”
